That’s right  – I’m heavily behind with my blog again. So, let’s dip into what I thought was funny 8-9 years ago. NB. “THOUGHT”.

Preface: Back in the halcyon days of the dawn of a new millennium Britain was in the middle of gardening fever. At the time a BBC show Groundforce was at the centre of everything Britain said, thought or hoped. Central to the charm of the show was Tommy Marsh, a cockney of considerable charm. Tommy would later turn out to be an upper class actor Piers Carberry-Dutch-Fylde – the duchy of Misanthropy. Back then though, I was clearly under the same spell as everyone else believing Tommy to be a real person: hence this piece I produced back in 2004.
