I’d love to say that I didn’t find these funny. But I do. I wish I could go back and have a chat with the 17-year-old me and tell him to try a bit to get something done with his writing or he’d end up wishing he was dead when he was 34 because he’d done nothing about it.
On the other some bits of it are depressingly obvious. Fortunately I’ve stopped relying on WWII/Hitler references. Notable by its absence: reference to the yet-to-happen 9/11…I think we’re all wondering what my fictional Richard Whiteley would have had to say about it. Sorry, he’s dead – we can’t find out.
Don’t worry – there’s only one more of these left.
